The length of time does a common divorce take?

Georgia law permits a divorce case to be settled 31 days after the defendant has been served with required paperwork. We can get a settlement agreement submitted earlier than that, but the judge is required to wait up until the 31st day after service has been perfected on the defendant to settle the paperwork.
